MerryGlow started with a simple frustration: Christmas trees have looked the same for a hundred years. You unbox the same tangle of string lights, you wrap them around, and that is it until January.
We thought a tree could do more. So we built one set of lights that turns the whole tree into a display — Santa one night, a snowman the next, a reindeer on Christmas Eve — all chosen from your phone in a couple of seconds. No projector, no second set of lights, no ladder.
What we care about
It has to actually work. Smart lights have a reputation for fiddly apps and dropped connections. We would rather ship fewer designs that render cleanly than a long feature list that frustrates you on the one night of the year it matters.
It has to last past one Christmas. MerryGlow packs away and comes back out next December. A decoration you throw away in January is not a bargain at any price.
It has to be honest. Our size guide tells you when to buy the cheaper set. Our shipping times are the real ones, not the optimistic ones. If something arrives wrong, we fix it.

MerryGlow is run from Italy and ships across Europe, the United States and beyond. You are dealing with a small team, not a call centre — when you email us, one of us reads it.
